Questions people ask
When should I use a gift card?
Gift cards are not only for gifting or occasions. Most people here use them for their own everyday spending: the weekly grocery run, the food order, the fuel fill, the movie on Friday. Because the card is bought below face value, you spend the same amount at the brand while paying less for it. On regular categories that repeat every month, that discount compounds into a real saving without changing anything about how you shop.
How do I actually use one?
Buying a card and getting its code happens in the Corra app today; browsing and comparing rates is what this page is for. Once a card is issued, follow the brand's own instructions to load it, usually adding it to your wallet or entering it at checkout. Those instructions, along with the expiry and terms, are listed on each card's page. You can use the full value at once or across several purchases, and the remaining balance stays on the card.
What are Corra Coins worth here?
One coin is ₹1, and it holds that value whether you move it to your bank or spend it here. Putting coins into a gift card is the fastest way to use them: they come off the price directly, on top of the card discount, and you still earn coins back on the cash portion. So the coins you earned from last month's bills reduce what you pay this month, and that purchase earns the next round.
Is the discount the same as a promo code?
No. There is no code anywhere in the flow. The discount is applied to the price before you reach the payment step, and it does not depend on how you pay.
How many coins can I put into one card?
It depends on the card. Each one has its own redemption cap, and the figure is shown on that card's page next to the coin chips, so you can see the limit before you commit. The coin calculator on this page uses each card's real cap when it totals a basket.
Do I still earn coins if I use coins?
Yes. Coins are earned on the cash half of the purchase, at that brand's coins-back rate, so paying partly in coins reduces the price without giving up the earning. Each card page shows the rate it pays and what a given denomination would return.
How fast does the card arrive?
Cards served from stock are issued to your Corra account within seconds. A few brands are minted with the partner at the time of the order and can take a little longer. Either way it lands in your account. Nothing is posted or emailed to a third party.
Do coins expire?
No. A coin is worth ₹1 for as long as you hold it, and you can move it to your bank over UPI or NEFT at any time.
Can I buy a card as a gift for someone else?
The card is issued to your Corra account and the code is yours to share. There is no separate gifting flow, no recipient details and no scheduled delivery.
Do gift cards expire?
Corra Coins never expire. An individual gift card carries the issuing brand's own validity, which is shown on the card before purchase and again on the code itself.
Where do I find a card I have bought?
Under My Coupons in the app. The code and PIN, where the brand issues one, stay there along with the validity and terms.
